Things To Do In Ao Phra Nang Beach

Ao Phra Nang, also known as just Ao Nang, is the main beach area in Krabi province. Just a few years ago this was still a tiny fishing community, but in recent times has grown into a major international tourist destination.

Ao Nang is a great family destination. We last visited Ao Phra Nang almost three years ago. There are not many visible elements of traditional nightlife and parents can be assured that there are Krabi activities for toddlers to teenagers to keep them out of trouble!

Take an Elephant Ride

Most tourists probably think of Chiang Mai when they hear elephants mentioned, but elephant rides are popular throughout Thailand. Krabi is no exception.

It provides an opportunity for your family to ride an elephant through the jungle, even if you do not plan to visit Chiang Mai during your family vacation.
