Attractions on Ko Phi Phi in Thailand

Ko Phi Phi or the Phi Phi Islands are one of the main reasons tourists visit Krabi, Thailand.  This should be no surprise as Ko Phi Phi is one of the most beautiful places in the world.  It is truly a tropical paradise. The mountains, coral reefs and sea life, and small village atmosphere all give Ko Phi Phi a speacial charm that inspires many visitors to return for a second and third holiday.

Ko Phi Phi is actually a group of six islands.  Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Ley are the most well known and two largest islands in the group.  Tonsai village is the center of activity and life on the Phi Phi islands. It is a rather compact little town with no roads or cars, only footbaths and bicycles. 

The Phi Phi islands are best known for scuba diving.  Koh Phi Phi is one of  the top five dive destinations in Thailand. Limestone cliffs rise dramatically out of the sea and plunge straight back down underwater, forming the colorful soft coral walls for which Phi Phi is famous.
