Getting Around on Krabi Transportation

Krabi town is home to many hotels and attractions.  However, the best beach areas are several miles from Krabi town.  Many of the most popular Krabi activities and attractions are located outside of town as well. 

We have vacationed in Krabi many times and local transportation is always available, but it is not always convenient.  While in Krabi, I recommend you rent a car or motorbike(s) for your transportation needs in Krabi. 

Motorbike Rental

Renting a motorbike or motorbikes, is much cheaper and exciting than day excursions organized by tour agencies.  Krabi motorbike rental is the best way to explore Krabi and there are many bikes available for rent in Ao Nang beach.  The motorbikes for rent in Thailand are very easy to operate.  You will notice that many motorbikes in Thailand will have more than two persons on board.  It is illegal to operate a motorbike in Thailand with more than two riders.  Thailand also has a helmet law.  However, these laws are rarely enforced outside of Bangkok.
